Q: Will my computer run faster if I buy and install an antivirus software?
A: Not necessarily. Virus software could help remove viruses but your computer may be slow because of many other factors. For example: Spy ware, unnecessary applications, hardware, etc.

Q: Can I set parental controls on my computer?
A: Sure, we can help setting up rules for the type of content children should not see.

Q: Should I delete my cookies?
A: It is always a good idea deleting cookies from time to time. Deleting cookies may improve internet performance and remove any bad cookies stored.

Q: My computer is not powering on at all, is it dead?
A: Firstly, please check to see if your computer is plugged into a power outlet. Before saying its dead, have us help, it may need only one part.

Q: My computer has frozen and is completely not responding. What is the proper way to shutdown? Should I pull the plug?
A: If your computer will not respond and you are about to pull the plug from your computer, stop! To forcefully shutdown you’re desktop or laptop pc, hold the power buttons (the button that you press to turn on your machine) for 8 to 10 full seconds. After the computer shuts down, it is recommended that you wait 10 full seconds before powering on again.

Q: My Internet service provider keeps telling me to power cycle my cable or dsl modem, what is power cycling?
A: Power cycling is the process of:
1. Shutdown computer
2. Unplug modem and if you have one, router.
3. Wait 45-60 full seconds
4. Plug in and turn on router (if you have one) and then modem.
5. Once the lights on the modem and router device are flashing, you may now power on your computer.

Q: I need help getting a better feel for my PC, can you teach me how to get more use out of my Computer?
